Mira Sailplane, George Fiala, 1/72 Resin Kit

Míra was the first try to construct a performance glider in Czechoslovakia. The construction of Maj. Rudolf Holeka took part in the 1st national gliding competition at Medlánky near Brno in 1924. The glider was well made, but suffered from instability, so no success was achieved. The model is built from AB model Olomouc, Cz. Some improvement was needed in the fuselage nose, but the work was pleasant.
