Bellanca Skyrocket, Claudio Luchina, 1/72 Vacuform Kit
For some obscure reason some airplanes like to keep their feet wet or cold. This is particularly true when you turn your attention to the vast expanse that lies on top of the map to the left hand side. Strange region populated by even stranger people and planes. The Bellanca Skyrocket, another graceful creation of Giuseppe, was a slightly more powerful version of the CH-300 Pacemaker. Many frames were given floats to widen their operating capabilities. The seaplane depicted belonged to Shell Simmons and was used by Alaska Air Transport Inc. There are a number of different photos that show a few details that varied with time, which has me covered for any discernible inaccuracies. Cheers!
