Wings of Peace July 2010 - January 2011 Open Theme Winner! Highly modified Khee-Kha Kit: Wings and stabilizer lengthened to "J Special" specs, full interior with internal fuselage fuel cells, scratched wheels and wheel pants, modified landing strut assemblies and tail skid. Removed and replaced to new positions all cowl louvers, shaved engine cowl and added external accessories to specs. The "Lituanica", from 7/15/1933 to 7/17/1933 flew a 3,984 mile record flight from the USA on route to Lithuania. It crashed in Poland.... short of its goal....
