Fairchild F71, Carmel J. Attard, 1/72 Khee Kha Vacuform Kit

Wings of Peace July 2010 - January 2011 Open Theme Winner! This is basically a Khee Kha 1/72 scale vacform model with resin parts from the unique Lars Opland selection. The kit has additional interior cabin struts, seats,resin floats drilled to take detachable beaching wheels. The extra wheels has hollow shaft and insert into each other, so that the F71 can be displayed beached or as 'in flight' configuration.Further detailed the resin engine and modified engine exhaust manifold, interior seating arrangement with added seat straps, added other fine detail as wingtip lights, ailerons control links, rear fuselage hand holds, control links to rudder and elevators, etc. Completed in markings of Pacific International Airways of Alaska livery....but pictures taken with a backdrop of St Paul's Bay, Malta!
