Payen Pa.22 Flechair, Jim Schubert, 1/72 Modelaire International Injection Kit
This was one of only two of Payen's many tandem wing designs to actually fly. It was built for the Coupe Deutsch de la Meurthe race of 1939 but was still in the wind tunnel at Meudon when the Nazis occupied Paris. They flew the plane and developed it a bit but then abandoned the concept. Post war Payen worked mostly with delta designs and specialty aircraft modification programs.
